Argentina, among the pre-tournament favorites to win the World Cup, have a strong lineup with Lionel Messi patrolling the midfield. Messi is among the best players to ever play the game, but he has never won a World Cup.
The Socceroos, on the other hand, make their first World Cup knockout game appearance since 2006. They have emerged as one of this tournament’s Cinderella sides.
