Law Student’s Epic Cheating Plot Goes Viral

Cheat sheet in handI’m sure law professors have seen lots of desperate attempts to pass their classes. But a recent viral tweet documents a… unique plan to attempt to pass criminal procedure.

Spanish law professor Yolanda de Lucchi of Malaga University took to social media to document the painstaking work one student did to try and secure a good grade. de Lucchi confiscated 11 BIC pens that the unnamed student had etched with the basics of crim pro.

“Tidying up my office, I found this university relic that we confiscated from a student a few years ago: Criminal procedural law in bic pens. What art!”

The professor didn’t share how the student was caught, but you have to imagine showing up with more pens than a stationery store is a hint that something’s not right. de Lucchi is right to call the effort art though, it looks like a tremendous amount of time, effort, and skill went into creating the crim pro pens.

At some point, it’s got to be easier just to learn the material.
