Protected bike lane bill vetoed by Gov. Wolf over proposed rule that would limit Philly DA's authority

Gov. Tom Wolf vetoed a bill on Thursday that would have authorized PennDOT to build parking protected bike lanes on state roads due to a recent amendment that would require the state to appoint a special prosecutor in Philadelphia to take over prosecution for crimes on SEPTA, limiting the authority of District Attorney Larry Krasner, who was impeached by the Republican-led state House of Representatives on Wednesday.
